I wanted to let everyone know that I have changed the format of the website and blog list on the left side of the page. They are all now true links. If anyone has any sites that you think would help the group send me the link and I will be glad to post it to the list.

Toll booths in West Virginia

FYI:

In a couple of weeks (on August 1), the tolls on the West Virginia Turnpike will go from $1.25 per car per plaza to $2.00 per car per plaza.....I got this information from http://stormhighway.com/blog/downtowncam.shtml . I also read it at http://www.dailymail.com/News/statenews/200907120270.

Visitation Regulation rumors answered

While I was there this weekend I got some answers to some common rumors.
Rumor
Friday visits are only a half point - False - all visits cost one point
Federal Holidays don't count - False - All visits cost one point
Inmates can't have visitors the first weekend - False - as long as the visitor in on the approved list they can visit.
Inmates can't have visitors the last weekend - False - Even if they are leaving on Monday morning they can have visitors on Sunday.

Football Season

WVU is getting ready to start the Fall session. Move in day for the students is August 21. I have posted the home football schedule. Rooms that are available those weekends tend to cost 2 to 3 times more than usual. Last year move in weekend was the same as a football weekend as far as the hotel's were concerned.

July 17 - 19

We are arriving Friday evening and will be staying at the Ramada Inn. Some of us are going to get together for dinner following visitation Friday. Should we decide now so that we are all on the same page, and some of us don't drive to PA for dinner? Also how about dinner Saturday. We all gotta eat and I like adult company personally.

Ramada Inn in Morgantown West Virginia

The Ramada Inn in Morgantown WV is booked July 24th-25th. They had a paper posted at the front desk. Just an FYI:

Heads up

I wanted to pass along some information that we just found out. It is one of those things that till you know to look for it, it could get by you. apprently when mike did his medical intake in 08 they put someone elses information in his records. They had him as having an ilegal drug and alcohol issue. He did not see it until he got his medical report at this final team meeting. He would not have known till he got to HWH and they made him do rehab out here. He just happened to read the papers they gave him copies of. It took him two weeks and persistence to get it corrected as they were not going to admit that they had made a mistake. Luckily his PO before he went in and the judge put in the sentancing report that he did not have a drug or alcohol problem. Make sure your guys read all the paperwork they give them before they are released. Once they are released it is part of their permenat record. I am sure that once you aren't there to get something like that corrected, it wouldn't happen.

Awesome women of morgantown wives

I want to thank Leanne and Melanie for there calls today I really needed that. I finally did talk to john today and hearing his voice and that he is ok made a world of difference. Well I figure everyday when I go to bed it's one day closer to john coming home and I am about to finish day 2. Thanks again to all of the morgantown wives for there support you are angels :)

Thanks for the Support

Thanks to Leeann staying on top of things and worrying about us all & Melanie's husband Chance I was able to find out that my husband Ed is in Randolph and doing fine. I truly do not know what I would be doing right now without the support! Yesterday was the hardest day of my life!
